CONSTRUCTION
The LEDJR-R Exit Sign is constructed from injection molded, V-0 flame retardant, high impact thermoplastic housing. White and Black housing options are available.
ILLUMINATION
The LEDJR-R Exit Sign illumination is achieved by use long-lasting, efficient ultra bright red LEDs. Color-matched diffuser eliminates hots spots and striations, providing optimal light output.
EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power, an internal solidstate transfer switch automatically provides uninterrupted emergency operation for at least 90 minutes. The fully automatic solid-state, two-rate charger initiates battery charging to recharge a discharged battery in 24 hours
BATTERY - BATTERY BACKUP
The LEDJR-R Exit Sign is designed with a maintenance-free 1.2V 1000mAh NiCad battery (Battery Backup Models) or a 3.6V 1800mAh battery (Remote Head Capable Models) that provides a minimum emergency duration of 90 minutes. Recharge time of the battery is 24 hours.

REMOTE HEAD CAPABLE OPTION
The remote head capability option allows the LED unit to supply power to up to two additional 3.6V remote heads. The remote heads would then operate on the same emergency mode as the standard units (see Emergency Operation Section). If no remote heads are attached to the exit sign, the battery run-time is approximately 180 minutes.
ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS
Dual voltage input 120/277 VAC operation. LED display indicates AC/ON. An external push button test switch allows maintenance personnel to quickly determine the operational status of the unit. Unit offers surge protected, solid state circuitry.
INSTALLATION
The LEDJR-R Exit Sign is suitable for surface wall, side and top mounting via included canopy. Snap together design allows for quick and easy installation. Knock-out chevrons for customized egress signage.
