CONSTRUCTION
The NYCPA-R series has a thin, low profile, durable plastic construction with 8" NYC approved lettering with 50' visibility. It has a durable plastic photoluminescent. This photoluminescent exit sign is explosion-proof for areas requiring explosion-proof exit signage.
ILLUMINATION
The NYCPA-R exit sign provides a high photoluminescent visible green background. (Sign must be kept fully charged for best results)
EMERGENCY OPERATION
Upon failure of the normal utility power the NYCPA-R exit sign will provide at least 90 minutes of illumination. *The sign must be charged for a minimum of 60 minutes to become fully operational.
INSTALLATION
The NYCPA-R is suitable for surface mount: Both high and low level applications. This unit can be mounted to the surface via screw or with adhesive (not included). Before installation it must be determined that there is a minimum of 5Fc of fluorescent, LED, metal halide, or mercury vapor light on the face(s) of the sign at all times during building occupancy.
